Mr. Alwan is president of the IP Networks Division at Alcatel-Lucent, with overall responsibility for the company’s portfolio of IP and multi-service switches and routers. Mr. Alwan came to Alcatel-Lucent through the 2003 acquisition of TiMetra Networks, a start-up focused on service routers for IP/MPLS networks, where he was founder, president, and CEO. Mr. Alwan is a frequent speaker at industry events and was recently named one of the industry’s “Top 10 Movers and Shakers” by Light Reading for his role in building the highly successful IP business at Alcatel. Prior to TiMetra, Mr. Alwan held executive positions in both Silicon Valley start-ups as well as large companies, including Rapid City Communications, Bay Networks (Nortel), and AMD. Mr. Alwan received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1984. |
John DonovanChief Technology Officer, AT&T

Mr. Donovan is chief technology officer for AT&T. Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Donovan was executive vice president of world wide sales and services for VeriSign, where he was responsible for leading VeriSign’s global sales organization, driving the expansion of broad solutions offerings, and integrating a global professional services capability. Prior to joining VeriSign, Mr. Donovan was CEO of inCode Wireless, where he helped shape strategic direction and positioning for wireless network operators around the globe. In addition, he has delivered projects for major U.S. network operators, focusing on the strategic and technological implications of wireless voice and data technologies. Mr. Donovan was a partner with Deloitte Consulting where he was the Americas Industry Practice director for telecom. He has authored two books, The Value Enterprise, published in January 1998, and Value Creating Growth, published in 1999. He frequently speaks on strategic and wireless technology topics at industry events. Mr. Donovan received a B.S.E.E. from the University of Notre Dame and earned an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Minnesota. |
Will GriffithGeneral Partner, Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV)

With more than eleven years of financing experience, Will Griffith joined TCV as a principal in 2000 and became a general partner in 2003. Prior to joining TCV, Mr. Griffith was an associate at The Beacon Group, a private equity firm that was acquired by JP Morgan Chase in 1999. Prior to that, he was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Griffith has also worked at or consulted for a number of private technology companies, including Tellme Networks. In addition to his board membership at 2Wire, Mr. Griffith also serves on the boards of Adknowledge, Continuous Computing, Motricity, Paciolan, Travelport, and Whitepages. Mr. Griffith received a B.A. in engineering and history from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford. |
Brian HinmanVenture Partner, Oak Investment Partners

Prior to joining Oak Investment Partners as a Venture Partner in 2006, Mr. Hinman was co-founder, president, and CEO of 2Wire. Mr. Hinman is also the co-founder, and formerly the CEO, of Polycom, Inc., as well as the co-founder of PictureTel Corporation at the age of 22, where he pioneered the video compression technology that has endured into the standards of today. Mr. Hinman is an engineer by training, a specialist in digital signal processing, and holds twelve U.S. patents. He has received several awards for entrepreneurship, including being named an Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2005. To catalyze entrepreneurship at his alma mater, he sponsors the Hinman CEO (Campus Entrepreneurship Opportunities) Program at the University of Maryland. In addition to serving on the board of 2Wire, Mr. Hinman also serves on the boards of Qpixel Technology and Aurora Biofuels. He has previously served on the national board of the American Electronic Association, and was co-founder and director of the International Multimedia Teleconferencing Consortium (IMTC). Mr. Hinman holds a B.S.E.E. Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, and an S.M.E.E. from MIT. |
Mel MeskinFormer CFO, National Operations, Verizon

Mel Meskin is chairman of the 2Wire Board of Directors Audit Committee. Mr. Meskin retired from Verizon in January 2002 with more than 31 years of service, including his most recent executive position as chief financial officer, National Operations. The National Operations organization was comprised of 70,000 employees servicing 70 million access lines. Prior to that, Mr. Meskin was vice president, finance, Consumer Division, responsible for $10 billion in sales. In addition to his board membership at 2Wire, Mr. Meskin also serves on the boards of directors at REFAC Optical Group (American Stock Exchange), OptiCare Health Systems, Inc., U.S. Vision, Inc., and Norbelle, a wireless location services provider. He previously served as a board member of NYNEX Cablecomms Ltd. in the United Kingdom, Shareholder Systems, Inc., and Verizon Credit Company, and served on the boards of trustees of Nyack Hospital, and the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. |
Krish A. PrabhuFormer President & CEO, Tellabs

Krish A. Prabhu joined Tellabs as president and CEO in February 2004 and retired in February 2008. During his tenure, the company’s revenues doubled through the introduction of new product offerings in broadband access and mobility, and through entry into new markets in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to joining Tellabs, Mr. Prabhu served as a venture partner at Morgenthaler Ventures from 2001 until 2004. Prior to that, he held a variety of executive positions at Alcatel, including COO of Alcatel, CEO of Alcatel USA, and CTO of U.S. operations. Mr. Prabhu was instrumental in growing Alcatel’s presence in North America by penetrating new accounts such as SBC, Bell South, and Verizon, as well as expanding Alcatel’s presence with AT&T, Sprint, and MCI. In addition to his board membership at 2Wire, Mr. Prabhu also serves on the boards of Adva, Altera, and Tekelec, and is a member of the Board of Visitors, School of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, and a life member of the Development Board of the University of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Prabhu holds a master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. |

As president and CEO, Pat Romano oversees all Company operations and relationships, ensuring that 2Wire products and services provide the maximum benefits to both consumers and partners. Prior to his appointment as president and CEO, Pat was vice president and general manager of the 2Wire gateway business unit. Before that, he served as the company’s vice president of engineering and chief technology officer. Prior to co-founding 2Wire, Pat held several engineering and marketing director-level positions at Polycom, Inc. In 1989, Pat co-founded Fluent, Inc., a digital video networking company, and served as chief architect until the company was sold to Novell Corporation in 1993. Pat earned his undergraduate degree in computer science from Harvard University, and received his master’s degree from the MIT Media Laboratory. |
Andres Vazquez del MercadoExecutive Vice President for Corporate Development, Telmex

Andres Vazquez del Mercado has more than 15 years of management experience in the telecommunications industry. He currently serves as executive vice president of corporate development at Telmex, where he is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, and development of long-term business growth strategies. Mr. Vasquez del Mercado joined Telmex in 1994 as vice president of sales and marketing, and has also held the positions of chief marketing officer, and executive vice president of consumer operations. He began his telecommunications career with Telcel in Mexico City, where he served in various capacities, including regional manager and chief marketing officer. In addition to serving on the board of directors at 2Wire, Mr. Vazquez del Mercado also serves on the boards of Telmex Colombia, Anuncios en Directorios, Corporacion Red Uno, Promotora Musical Mixup, Media Planning de Mexico, Asociacion Automovilistica Mexicana, Volaris, and on a number of boards dealing with Telmex non-controlling ventures. Mr. Vazquez del Mercado holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Anahuac University. |
