Brian Hinman of 2Wire Named Winner Of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2005 Award

San Jose, California - June 20, 2005 - Brian Hinman of 2Wire was named a winner by professional services firm Ernst & Young LLP for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2005 Awards in Northern California in the Networking and Communications category. Mr. Hinman was selected from 25 finalist companies in Northern California by an independent panel of judges comprised of local business, academic, and community leaders and announced at an award banquet on June 17, 2005 at The Fairmont San Francisco atop Nob Hill.

Hinman is president and CEO of 2Wire and co-founded the company in 1998. Hinman has a history of entrepreneurship and was also the co-founder, and formerly the CEO, of Polycom, Inc., the world’s leading teleconferencing company. Prior to Polycom, at the age of 22, Hinman co-founded PictureTel Corporation.
